Building strong communities is foundational to advancing workplace wellbeing

Our recent Wellbeing Think Tank Community Mixer created space for connection, shared learning, and reflection on what leaders are navigating right now.

The Wellbeing Think Tank Community Mixer welcomed new and returning members for an interactive, relationship-centered gathering focused on connection and shared experience. Designed as a speed networking-style event, the mixer prioritized meaningful conversations and peer learning across industries and roles.

Participants engaged in breakout rooms to exchange insights on workplace wellbeing strategies, discuss what is working in their organizations, and reconnect with others in the community. Many shared appreciation for the opportunity to build relationships in a space grounded in evidence-based practice while remaining open to thoughtful experimentation within scope of practice.

Conversations also surfaced the growing complexity of supporting wellbeing and belonging at work. Attendees reflected on the importance of creating safe and supportive environments for employees, particularly as organizations navigate external constraints related to language, policy, and shifting expectations.

The mixer offered an early look at Wellbeing Think Tank’s upcoming programming themes, including neuroscience for wellbeing, art and play for human flourishing, and the role of data in strengthening wellbeing strategies. These themes will be explored throughout the year in educational sessions and at the Annual Summit.

Join us in Portland, or via our livestream at our 6th Annual Summit to experience our community of practice where we’re creating cultures of wellbeing, together.
