Meet Our Next Presenter: Tesha Crockett-Gibson, DHSc

"Values tell us where we want to go. Whole-person wellness helps us get there."

Join us as we welcome Dr. Tesha Crockett-Gibson, wellness strategist, executive coach, and public health professional, for an upcoming session exploring how organizations can create more personalized and meaningful approaches to workplace wellbeing.

In Values-Driven Approaches to Supporting the Whole Person at Work, Tesha will explore why traditional workplace wellness programs often fall short and how employers can better support the diverse needs, experiences, and priorities of their workforce. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in workplace wellbeing, health promotion, and leadership development, she brings a practical perspective on connecting personal values with organizational strategy.

Moving Beyond Programs to Support the Whole Person

Workplace wellbeing is often approached through fitness challenges, wellness campaigns, and employee benefits. While these resources can be valuable, they don't always address the broader conditions that influence how people experience their work and lives.

Tesha's approach starts with a fundamental question: What matters most to people?

Her work emphasizes the importance of understanding individual values and recognizing that wellbeing encompasses multiple interconnected dimensions, including physical health, mental and emotional health, social connection, financial stability, occupational wellbeing, and personal growth.

By considering these dimensions together, organizations can move toward more personalized approaches that support employees as whole people.

During this interactive session, Tesha will also explore how coaching, artificial intelligence, wearable technology, and thoughtful work design can support wellbeing. Participants will consider both the opportunities and limitations of these tools, including the importance of privacy, trust, and maintaining human connection.
